Our Story

The history of All States Australia started back in 1985 when Brad moved back to Busselton from Perth after qualifying his apprenticeship with the Western Australian Fire Brigades Board in O'connor W.A.

Where there he mastered his trade in light vehicle and heavy vehicle mechanics, auto electrical and air conditioning as well as machining and coach building with further night school studying to complete his automotive engineering degree at WAIT (now known as Curtin university) and associated TAFES.

After seeing how well the mobile mechanical side was just starting to take trend, he then joined call-out mobile mechanics and operated throughout the south west and sometimes back in Perth, after a year or so he decided to go it alone and called it Mobile Auto Care Busselton where he would finally locate back to Busselton to call it home.

A few years had gone by and then children came along where unfortunately after a short space of time he became a single parent raising two very small children, time had gone by for a short period where then Brad started to move into the mining sector working for RIO TINTO on numerous sites to achieve the goal of raising enough capital to buy his own home which he finally did.

In 2010 Brad then started All States Australia Mobile Mechanics and Auto Electricians Pty Ltd in the town of Donnybrook Western Australia where he also had the RAC contract for roadside assistance and towing for a period of 6 years and during this time also started Avraa Car Hire Australia for the reason of people braking down needed a ride to get back home whilst their vehicle was being repaired.

For this time period all was going very well with having four apprentices qualifying their trade as motor mechanics and auto electricians (dual traders) and over seas tradesman qualifying for their Australian trade papers who had gone on to start their own businesses.

A few years had gone by now and Brad finally met the girl of his dreams "Tracy" who was from Busselton and they decided to moved from Donnybrook back to Busselton as they both enjoyed the ocean life of surfing, fishing and camping and set All States up originally doing mobile mechanics and having 3 contract tradesman and two apprentices.

The tradesman moved on after a few years and Brad was starting to show age and decided to set up a workshop where the fatigue on the body would be less, Brad and Tracy then also reignited Avraa the car, campervan and scooter (motorbike) rental business where Tracy would now still run to this day and Brad has slowed down on the mobile mechanical side after having a major hernia operation in May 2025 where his doctor said "sorry mate your to old to be doing it this way anymore" and now only doing minor breakdowns and pre purchase vehicle inspections and normal mechanical duties from the workshop and servicing and repairing the rental fleet.

So that's the All States story to date and we hope you enjoyed our story.
